Irvine Chamber of Commerce Holds Legends and Leaders Program
Taco Bell CEO, Greg Creed, Shares Success Story with Program Attendees
03.05.13
The Irvine Chamber of Commerce (ICC) recently held its Legends and Leaders program, an intimate and informal way to hear ideas, business concepts and encouragement from leaders in Irvine and throughout Orange County. Entrepreneurs, business management, Chamber Board members and local executives recently joined together at Andrei’s Conscious Cuisine in Irvine for the special event. This year’s guest speaker was Taco Bell Corporation’s Chief Executive Officer, Greg Creed.
Having served as CEO of Taco Bell since February 2011, Mr. Creed spoke about how his efforts led Taco Bell to maintain a leadership position in the fast food market. According to qsrmagazine.com, Taco Bell has been the Mexican category leader for almost 50 years, finding its niche of serving cheap food to a younger demographic. In 2010, the chain did $6.9 billion in U.S. sales across 5,634 stores and its AUV (Accumulation Unit Value) of $1.3 million was nearly three times as much as Subway’s.
The Bank would like acknowledge the Irvine Chamber of Commerce for hosting this meaningful speaking engagement and thanks the Chamber for its continued efforts to strengthen the competitiveness of local businesses.
